Hosted in Bristol (UK) with a new line up of tutors every year; this is a weekend that every drummer needs to be at.
THE DRUMMER'S ODYSSEY CAMP is an annual drum camp that is hosted in Bristol (UK).
It is an intensive two camp that spans over a weekend in October, and consists of a different line up of tutors every year. Previous TDOC Tutor Alumni includes Anika Nilles, Gabor Dornyei, JP Bouvet, Sarah Thawer, Emmanuelle Caplette, Pete Riley, Camille Bigeault, Dave Major, Pete Cater, Ben Thomas, and AJ Rousell.
TDOC strives to provide these things... A place for drummers to connect and socialise with each one another, a space to learn and grow as a musician, and the inspiration/encouragement to keep practicing in order to become the drummer you always strived to be.

“I have attended two of AJ’s ‘The Drummers Odyssey Camps’ and both have exceeded all expectations. They provided incredible diversity in both the tutor selection and course material. They fostered such a fun and supportive environment for students of all abilities to learn, connect with other musician’s in the industry and to feel inspired and supported to continue their drumming journey! AJ is organised, friendly, professional and a great teacher himself and I would recommend him highly in organisation of tuition and provision of further clinics.”

"One of my highlights for 2018 was to have the pleasure of being invited to participate in the inaugural Drummers' Odyssey Camp. AJ has created a first class event which delivers very strongly for both participants and tutors. The organisation is as slick and professional as the most long established drum camps in which I have participated. The Drummers' Odyssey Camp deserves its place on the international stage and in making it happen AJ Rousell adds entrepreneur to his already distinguished achievements as drummer, educator, clinician and author."

“As an alumni who has attended all three camps, I can safely say the experience has been something like I have never had before and it has improved with every Camp! The bar was set so high after the first camp in 2018, so with the addition of the Q&A sessions and merchandise/freebies, TDOC has always been a crowd pleaser. Specifically in 2020 with COVID-19 and social distancing I think AJ did a great job adapting to the situation. Having more tutors that year was also great as we got to see a wider variety of drumming styles and approaches to drumming!”
